Besides the obvious facelift, we have a few new features we’re thrilled to unveil.

There’s a gorgeous new mobile site! Our former mobile experience was, in a word, lacking. The new mobile experience is optimised to make reading and browsing on the go as easy as can be.

There’s a new homepage format — with endless scroll! In contrast to our formerly static layout, it now showcases an easily accessible stream of all of our recent stories, which you can scroll endlessly.

We’ve introduced a browse by category section. Looking for a great design idea, or a quick fix to update your pad this weekend? Now you can browse our content by category by simply clicking the nav bar dropdown box at the top of our site.

Haven’t been to site in a few days? On the top of the home page you’ll see a “scroll slide show” – there’s no need to click through our slideshow galleries, just scroll away, so you can keep up with major stories you may have missed.

Related stories? Now when you’re reading a story on MP, we’ll present you with related stories on each post, on topics you’re interested in.

We have introduced featured videos. From home tours to great gardens,  our new video section brings you the best moving images from around the web (plus a few of our own – which we launch next month!). We can’t spoil you all at once.

Perhaps most exciting of all, we’re opening our little black book with the best contacts across all fields. From products to people, services to suppliers, you’ll find the lot.

Think blinds, antique dealers, awnings, builders, electricians, lighting, landscapers, shutters, upholsterers, catering, calligraphers, florists, and more. Each week, we will update the list, with new faves – most of who we source from talking to the best designers and architects – so you know they’re great.
