Many Australian’s sense of reality has fallen apart after the shocking tragedy in Sydney over the weekend. The world we thought we were living in is not the world we’re actually in. It’s beyond words or understanding. Our hearts go out to the families and loved ones of those killed during such a senseless attack, and those involved in the response. Looking at a beautiful terrace via @sixsensesrome tonight - as we continue the quest for sense-making in a chaotic and confusing world. Great views can make us feel exhilarated. Who can pass a door or window without pausing and looking out? Who isn’t tempted to pay extra for a hotel room with an outlook? Meditative gazes beckoning us into landscapes; that peer onto pools where you can float like an angel, and private terraces that make your soul sing. However simple, the spaces that matter most are private gardens, terraces and open plan living rooms. All of these make us feel more connected.
