After years of neutral interiors or stark farmhouse white, homeowners are craving less-severe, nature inspired leafy green hues. People view their homes differently since the pandemic. There has been a deep spiritual shift and great interest in connectivity to the earth. Apparently designers have been inundated with requests to include the calming, familiar deep, clear greens found in nature. We see the home as a place to be safe and comfortable - demonstrated by the Parisian kitchen, pictured, by @melaniejadedesign. Just remember: avoid greens that are too minty or with a lot of yellow undertones. We’re watching out for houses with earthy outsides in sustainably sourced stone that can calm people’s anxiety. Earthier tones help a place feel more lived-in and relaxed. Lifestyle is a driving force. That’s why searches such as”terrace”, “courtyard” and “pools” always come out on the top of Google lists. It’s about harmonious spaces where everything relates - from the smallest detail to the biggest gesture.
