What makes Caroma’s vast new Sydney flagship that opens this month is the merchandising of more than 400 innovative bathroom products across 2500 square metres of space filled with Australian plants and trees.
There are beautiful baths, basins, showers, loos, tapware with the brand’s famous water-saving features to inspire you, choreographed in room settings in the architectural space which features concrete floors, water tanks and a jungle of native fauna.
The 75-year old company has collaborated with renowned Australian designers to curate 10 capsule bathware collections. Discover ranges by furniture designer Mark Tuckey, industrial designer Tom Fereday. Trend forecast agency Colour Hive and brand director of The Grounds, Dan Mylonas, among others.
Plus there are four new ranges: Coolibah, Olida, Piperita and Caesia. From developing the world’s first two-button Dualflush ceramic toilet to award-winning ultra-low flush Smartflush and Caroma Cleanflush systems many of Caroma’s products have been developed to use up to 40 per cent less water.
Just visiting will inspire. We love the black tapware, huge stainless steel showerheads and dead, simple architectural bathtubs that look a lot more expensive than they are. If you are building, renovating or even just thinking about it – visit as soon as you can. CAROMA ON COLLINS, 39 Collins Street, Alexandria, www.caroma.com.au
