CUTTING EDGE STYLE: AMAZING PRODUCTS THAT STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD

Cool pieces every room can pull off.

September 10, 2019

Soho House’s homeware brand teams up with US retailer Anthropologie to produce a 30-strong furniture collection. Soho House who now counts 25 outposts of its members clubs around the globe has paired Soho Home (its retail arm) with the American giant. There’s a lot of crossover, says Chris Sotz, head of Anthropologie Home, The brands are beautifully styled, casual and cool, and there is a timelessness because we take cues from eclectic styles and periods. Both have gone global.

Core customers are women in their 30s and 40s with an affinity with great design.

“Interiors are her sport. Well-travelled with second homes, they are looking to decorate several places. They want something unique all the time.” Designed and produced by Anthropologie, the range takes inspiration from two Soho Houses in particular – the original venue on London’s Greek Street, and the more recent modernist property Soho House Barcelona.

The collection is expansive with furniture, textiles, lighting, tableware, and glassware.

Art Deco is the theme that runs throughout the range, the velvet upholstery and furniture with marble and brass inlay.

One of our favourite pieces is the curved Chesterfield ‘Tete-a-Tete sumptuous velvet with a braided fringe trim. *Lead image Zara organically shaped 100% recycled glass bottle from $39.90, zarahome.com.au
